Ally Nikolaus is a screenwriter and an award winning filmmaker. She has an MFA in Screenwriting from DePaul University in Chicago, where she also studied comedy at The Second City theatre. Ally loves writing stories that reflect real and authentic characters in everyday life. Her short film, “8,000” won best LGBTQ+ film at the Women’s Comedy Film Festival in Chicago 2021. 

 

Ally is thrilled to be a part of Emerald City Entertainment! Her mission is to work closely with other writers and creators to bring more unique, minority voices to our screens. She also founded “Turn Your Page”, a coaching business that helps writers hone their voice and get their work out into the world.
